I came back to Japan 2 weeks before.
I'm spending busy days as I expected.
Indeed it seems to be tired, but I feel good
because I can see my family and friends.
Today, I watched a program that dealt with a WHO worker.
Though I cannot explain my impression easily, I moved her passion to her work.
I learned that team work is very important for working.
I remembered my motto
"Be humble as I cannot acomprish anything alone, and try to do my best even though I am alone"
This is paradox.
I believe next step will come after this paradox.
Tomorrow I want get up eary and finish my work.
I can do it!
暗く分厚い雲の隙間に
黄金色の空が見えた
ここは西の最果て
雲と光は頭をかすめて
東へ指しゆく
歩く、歩く、歩く。
山道を歩く。
ハッピーハイキングってやつですわ。
しかも超盆地。っていうか谷。
日差しは中東。
あつい。
でも、寒いより暑いほうが好き。
おなかもすいてご飯と水がおいしかった。
帰りにロープウェーや遺跡とかも巡ったりして。
明日は北へ、北へ、北へ。
今年の目標の1つ
・中だるみを撃退する
人間誰しも中だるみはするもの。たるまない人などいないし、そんなに常にぎゅっぎゅっと息苦しく生きるのもいやだ。
がしかし、たるみすぎはあかん。
今日もちょっと仕事でおこられた。
たるんでました、はい。ごめんなさい。
たるまず、縛らず、”張り”を持って暮らしていきたい。
My teacher has come here.
4 years ago, he said to me.
"Shall we go to the Philippines?"
I was freshman of university.
My parents were against my journy to there.
He persuaded them and they let me go.
I homestayed in very local area.
They became another family in Philippines.
3 years ago, he said to me.
"Anyone who wants to go to Minamata?"
I hoped, went, and think alot about everything.
Minamata conects everything. Everything.
2 years ago, he said to me.
"You can go there"
There is here.
Now,I am in famous country because of conflict.
You might think this country as very dangerous place.
But, he said,
"You can go"
and I came.
Today, we celebrated being together here with beer.
He said,
"You have something"
I am working here where I never thought it possible to come.
I don't know what is "something" yet and hope to know through my work.
英語を練習するつもりでこのブログを始めたのですっかり忘れていたが、どうやらこれは日記らしい。
日記と言えば、その日にあったことを書く、その中でも特に印象に残ったことを書くもんだ。当たり前だが。
というわけで、新年2日目も日本語になってしまったが、「日記」で書いてみよう。
朝、ラジオニュースで目を覚ます。が、寝ぼけていたため、ただでさえ聞き取れない英語ニュースがさっぱり頭に入らず、再び夢の中へ。
なんとか起きるとニュースでは色々起こっていることを知る。まぁ、この国ではいつものことだが。しかし、ちょっとは落ち着いてくれないと仕事がしづらい。
（日本語で始めての方へ→中東の某国？に仕事の関係でやってきているわけです）
今日の仕事はビデオ編集の準備。撮り貯めてきたVTRの中身をチェックして内容やテープ上の位置を簡単に書きとめる。撮ったのは自分なので、メモ程度でも十分内容は思い出せる。
進めているうちに、撮ったときには気付かなかったミスや子どもの笑顔なんかがあって、一喜一憂しながら時間が過ぎていった。もう少し撮るのがうまくなりたいなぁ。
お昼頃、休んでいると大家が庭先にやってきて話し込む。庭には蜜柑やびわなどが植わっているので、その木々について話が弾む。蜜柑農家のところにファームステイしていたことがあるのだ。実家にもいよかんとか甘夏とかあって手入れをしていた。枝をばっさんばっさん切りたい気分だ。この家の木にはさみ入れるわけにいかないし・・・。
そんなこんなでゆっくりしていたらアッと言う間に仕事時間が終わり、晩飯は上司が作ってくれて、一日が過ぎて行った。
一日振り返るって・・・つまらない。
いや、つまらない一日だったというのも十分理由としてあるんだけどさ。
なんか面白いことをグワッと取り上げた方がいいよね。そんなわけで、明日？以降はそうしよう。
明日は日本から知人が来て食事だー。そして今日以上にあったかいらしい。寒いの嫌い。楽しみ楽しみ。

日本ではもう2日みたいだけど、こちらはまだ1日の夕方です。
日本に帰国してからずっと滞っていたこの英語ブログ。
テンプレートを変えて心機一転。
今年は気楽に英語と日本語を混ぜていこうかなと。
その日に気が向いたことばで書いていこう。
風の向くまま、気の向くままに・・・
10月の半ばに日本に帰ってきてから、ぜんぜん更新していませんでした。12月にはまた現地に戻るので、もうしばしのお待ちを。。。

Ramadan has come.
In this country where most people are Muslim, they never eat and drink during the daytime of Ramadan. Furthermore it’s prohibited to smoke and engage in sexual activities.
You probably know this basic info. I wanted to feel real atmosphere and their life of Ramadan because this is the first time that I have ever experienced this religious event. I went around the old city and observed it and I noticed that it seems like the New Year!
While walking in a market, you can see speial food for Ramadan. Before sunset, they buy pancakes called “Katayef” and date palm juice. Although Katayef shops usually sell sandwiches or some fried food, during Ramadan it changed. Shopkeepers gather round a big iron board that they heat up. It looks like they are making crepes or okonomiyakis. Many customers are waiting for them to finish baking Katayefs.
Above your head, a number of electric signs illuminate streets. It looks like Japanese street fares called“Ennichi”
When sunset comes, you hear firing and praying announcement in the air. They eventually start to eat, drink and smoke. Silence comes, because they enjoy spending their time with family, relatives, and friends. I guess that they enhance their ties through Ramadan.
After eating, they go to Mosque again to pray. The word “Ramadan” originally means burning sins. They try to eliminate sins for after death. It is meant to initiate a new time, I think.
I like this exciting atmosphere and have tried to fast.
…Only just one day.

What beer do you like?
I like Kirin, Carlsberg, and local beer in this country.
There was a village festival. The village is famous for beer, olive oil, and embroidery products.
First of all,of course, I dropped on a beer corner. I drunk both normal and black one.
Gokuri.... taste goooood and breeeezing!
I think Japanese likes the tastes.
As far as I know, importing the beer to Japan was started recently. So, I can taste it also in Japan with my friends and family. Although I like to drink whisky alone, I am sure that it's better to drink with others. Don't you think so?
